First photo Shawn Ashmore as Iceman in ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’
Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore are both on tap for the new X-Men film and fans are clamoring to see development in the storyline.
X-Men Days of Future Past will unite the cast of original trilogy and the new film X-Men First Class with director Bryan Singer returning to the franchise.
Obviously pre-CGI, Ashmore has “markings” on his face, likely for the motion capture technology to enhance the character’s appearance.
Singer is regularly tweeting photos from the set, such as the first look at Nicholas Hoult as Beast, which was notably more human like and less like a cat.
While the details are vague, Days in the comic books dealt with a future timeline in which the Sentinels hunted and killed mutants regularly. Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has been cast as an unnamed villain, but the actor likely Bolivar Trask, a key creator in the Sential program.
