First photo: Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow in ‘Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tells No Tales’

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed the first photo of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and as many fans may expect, Jack is in some sort of trouble.

pirates-of-the-caribbean-logoThe photo shows Sparrow tied up by two other pirates. Along with unveiling the picture, Bruckheimer wrote on Twitter: “Captain Jack is back, and we’re not letting him go.”

Depp’s hand injuring delayed the production for a couple of weeks, so the new pic will energize some news and interest.

Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites are co-starring in Pirates of the Caribbean 5, with Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning directing the movie.

Kaya Scodelario, Golshifteh Farahani, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally and Stephen Graham also star.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will comes to theaters on July 7, 2017.

Story:

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him.  Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
