First look ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’ and new photos featuring
Fans may not have noticed, but the official look at the new X-Men film arrived Via the X-Men Movies Instagram (this was shown at SDCC)
X-Men Days of Future Past is the upcoming sequel/prequel, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) has his consciousness sent back to 1973 to help Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and the rest of the X-Men: First Class crew stop the rise of the Sentinels, giant robots programmed to exterminate mutants.
New photos arrived Via Empire and EW and feature the 70’s Xavier and Magneto battling in another round of chess and additional looks at Fassbender’s character.
Jennifer Lawrence is painted up as the blue shape-shifting Mystique in a pair of photos with a lovely behind-the scenes shot featuring The Hunger Games star’s big smile.
One of photo of Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore give fans a brief look at Kitty Pryde and Iceman while a bullet riddled Wolverine grips some booze, preparing to heal.
The film also stars Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Omar Sy, and Halle Berry.
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens May 23, 2014.
