First ‘Ben’Hur’ remake trailer, photo has Jack Huston in action
MGM and Paramount Pictures have released the first trailer and photos for Ben-Hur, a new adaptation of Lew Wallace’s classic novel, which will star Jack Huston and Morgan Freeman.
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), the film tells the epic story of Judah Ben-Hur (Huston), a prince falsely accused of treason by his brother Messala (Toby Kebbell).
The main action sequence of the film, as teased in the trailer, is the classic chariot race, a sequence that looks to make the late Charlton Heston proud.

Ben-Hur opens in theaters on August 12th.
