FAKE NEWS: Huffington Post insert racism in Trump’s security clearance story, others discuss Omarosa’s ‘black card’

The Huffington Post stretched pretty far with this headline: “Criticized For Racism, Trump Goes After Black Former National Security Adviser.”

Contextually, the story surrounds news that President Trump and his administration is moving quickly to revoke the security clearance of several former Obama officials, particularly John Brennan and yes, Susan Rice.

“Susan Rice’s name is included on a list of officials who have criticized Trump, even though she has kept a relatively low profile,” begins the HuffPo writer, later listing off the officials beyond Rice and Brennan: former CIA director Michael V. Hayden, former director of national intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., Sally Yates, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr and former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe.

The term racist, racism is NEVER mentioned again because ALL OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS ARE WHITE.

“She’s a convenient target for something that has nothing to do with what she’s said,” said Ned Price, a former CIA analyst and National Security Council spokesman under Obama, is quoted as saying, implying Rice should NOT be on the list.

Maybe. Maybe not. Her role at the NSA makes her an obvious target for the purge and appears to have nothing to do with race, but that doesn’t matter in 2018.

The Chicago Tribune ran a racist article on the feud between and President Trump and Omarosa Manigault Newman titled: “Omarosa may have earned back her black card.”

“C’mon African-Americans, have a heart. Omarosa Manigault Newman desperately wants her black card back. I think we ought to consider giving it to her,” the article begins, explaining “It takes a lot to get it taken away, and it’s only fitting that black people have to jump through a lot of hoops to get it back.”

Sheri Shepherd doesn’t even agree with arbitrary “black card” assessment of an individual toeing this authoritarian line: “Omarosa…she’s like in that no-mans land. She let go of Trump and black people don’t want her. Maybe she can go be the First Lady of her church since she sold her soul.”

“She sold her soul and now she’s trying to sell him down the river. She’s trying to make money for her book,” Shepherd said to TMZ. “Everything’s very calculated with Omarosa, but she could be the one thing that brings him down. So there you go.”

How about we don’t have black cards…or white cards…or asian cards…or any cards?

That is the definition of racism.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” — Martin Luther King Jr.Feb 20, 2018
