Eva Longoria named Maxim magazine’s ‘Woman of the Year’
Maxim named actress Eva Longoria has been named the magazine’s ‘Woman of the Year.’
Longoria is the ‘executive producer’ for shows Devious Maids and Mother Up!
In May, she did complete a master’s program at California State University Northridge for a degree in Chicano and Chicana Studies – a three-year course that she quietly attended in person.
She’s also dabbled in various philanthropic activities and was a co-chair of Barack Obama’s reelection campaign.
Here’s the bit from the new January/Febuary issue:
Maxim: Besides acting, you’re a producer, a businesswoman, and a philanthropist. We also heard you had to reschedule this interview because you had to present your thesis.
Longoria: Yeah, I’m getting my master’s degree. I was like, “My brain can’t jump that fast from a Maxim interview to a thesis!” Back in high school I really was the chameleon, too. I got along with the honors math club, then I would go to cheerleading practice, and then I was a band geek as well.
