Eme Ikwuakor talks ‘Extant’ ‘Not Safe For Work,’ acting full time and ‘Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader’
Actor Eme Ikwuakor discusses roles on the hit TV show Extant, a short film Chance and Not Safe For Work with The Global Dispatch’s Dispatch Radio.
Eme can’t praise the stars of these shows enough, noting “how down to Earth” they are. He has a role the SWAT team commander in the science drama which stars Halle Berry as an astronaut who returns home from a year long solo mission. Her experience in space, and at home, will change the course of human history.
Eme reflects on the incredible week where he was for roles on Extant, Hawaii 5-0 and Castle in just days apart. He talks about going from the small Indie hit film Ink to the decision to follow his heart and pursue acting full-time.
Chance is a short film Eme also produced and our discussion reveals some of the other creative motivations behind this young actor.
In a bit of fun Eme recounts his experience on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, where he appeared alongside his twin AK. Just a fun time from a young rising star.
