Elodie Yung, Charlie Cox talk ‘Daredevil’ emotions, Elektra, praising Jon Bernthal’s Punisher

Tampa Bay Comic-Con attracts thousands of fans and one batch flocked together for the Daredevil panel to hear updates, insights and comments from the show’s stars Charlie Cox and Elodie Yung.

Yung joined the show for season 2 as the deadly assassin Elektra and love interest for Cox’s main character. The pair enjoyed great chemistry together and Yung revealed her “favorite part.”

Elodie Yung as Elektra in Daredevil season 2“There are so many. I really enjoyed the series in the ring because we clicked as characters and it started chemistry. I also enjoyed dying in Charlie’s arms.”

Cox jumped in to say “I love that Elodie and I can have a fight scene for five minutes in a loft and then seven minutes of dialogue in a diner, both come off as action because of the dynamic relationship and I feel for Matt.”

The duo was asked about pranks and gags played on another.

“One day we had to shoot in the car and we started to put fake glass down each other’s costumes,” Yung revealed, prompting Cox to offer an example of his own.

“That was episode eight when we were in the car chase from Hand. We do take our job seriously though.”

The pair was quite evasive about certain details, but Yung did praise Jon Bernthal, who also joined season 2 as Frank Castle/The Punisher.

“I enjoyed working with him, he’s an incredible actor.”

Tampa Comic-Con runs all weekend.
