‘Dyesebel’ star, Anne Curtis: ‘I’m so lucky to be alive’ after getting stung by jellyfish
Dyesebel star, Anne Curtis, found out one of the dangers of playing a mermaid on Philippine television’s most popular show Wednesday as the “Princess of all Media” was stung by a box jellyfish.
“I’m so luck to be alive. Thanks you Lord”, is what the 29-year-old Curtis tweeted a couple of hours ago.
Anne was taken to St. Luke’s Medical Center, after being rushed to hospitals in San Juan and Lipa in Batangas, where they are monitoring her sting, rash and heart rhythm.
Curtis warned in a tweet that she was doing some research on the box jellyfish noting the sting can be fatal, “This summer be careful when swimming in the ocean, keep an eye out”.
Dyesebel is shot in Batangas.
The pilot episode of latest adaptation of the Mars Ravelo classic was the most watched television show in the country.
A plethora a “get well” wishes flooded Curtis’ Twitter and Instagram account since the incident.
