Donald Trump lies about ‘Trump Steak’ relabeling Bush Brothers meat – check out other lies

Donald Trump may have had plenty to celebrate on Tuesday night after winning the Republican primaries in Mississippi and Michigan, but Trump turned heads with the infomercial during his victory speech, highlighting several Trump brands: steak, water, etc….

The problem: It’s not true.

These Trump Steaks were in fact Bush Brothers meat with the labels still visible and made public on Twitter – check out the photo below.

“We have Trump Steaks,” he said.

The actual line of Trump Steaks has been discontinued, according to The Wall Street Journal. They were sold at The Sharper Image, which has a commemorative page for them on its website.

Trump Water was also repacked as a reporter at the press conference noticed the labeling on the bottle:

  • Trump Vodka was discontinued in 2011, and the brand isn’t included in a list of assets the businessman submitted with election officials after declaring his candidacy.
  • Trump University launched in 2004 as a path for aspiring real-estate investors. Introductory courses were free, with three-day seminars costing $1,495. The school closed in 2010, and is now caught up in litigation.
