Die Hard 5 hires two villains to face Bruce Willis’ John McClane
Die Hard 5, officially titled: “A Good Day to Die Hard” will come to theaters in 2013 has now signed Sebastian Koch (The Lives of Others) and model Yulia Snigir to play a pair of Russian baddies opposite Bruce Willis as John McClane in ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’.
Bruce Willis will reprise his career-defining role as loose cannon, Irish-American cop John McClane – who’s really a fish out of water this time around, as he ends up battling baddies overseas in Russia while also reuniting with his son Jack (Spartacus‘ Jai Courtney).
All of this is in line with details published by ScreenRant based on comments made by the producer:
- The sequel will be released on February 14th, 2013 (Valentine’s Day).
- The story is set in Russia and begins with John McClane heading to Moscow to sweet talk some cops into letting his apparently-wayward son out of jail for something he did, but when he gets there, things surrounding his son’s arrest are not as they appear and world-threatening terrorist hijinks ensue.
- McClane, Jr. has yet to be cast.
- They still don’t know if it will be rated PG-13 or R.
