Deer trashes Pittsburgh area carpeting store
A Pittsburgh metro area carpeting store had a unexpected visitor that ran wild for a good half hour causing damage and mayhem until police were able to get the beast out of the store, according to a WPXI.com report Tuesday.
The deer smashed into Stout Carpeting in Castle Shannon yesterday morning and preceded to run amok inside the store wrecking displays and generally causing chaos while Stout Carpeting employee, Jill Horvatic hid.
“Honest to God, I was shaking. I haven’t felt like that ever in my life,” Horvatic told WPXI. “For 20 minutes all I heard was banging and glass shattering. It was horrifying.”
Police were able to get the deer out of the store before anybody got hurt. Store employees then had there work cut out for them cleaning up the mess.
