David Strathairn joins cast of ‘Godzilla’ reboot, Frank Darabont script still pending
Monsters director Gareth Edwards is pulling together an all-star cast with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston and now David Strathairn who played Abe Lincoln’s advisor in Spielberg’s biopic.
Variety broke the news of the latest human to “battle” against the giant monster.
Strathairn is beset known for his role in the Bourne franchise as Noah Vosen.
Screenwriter Frank Darabont is still working on his rewrite and many of the actors reportedly didn’t want to sign until they read that final draft.
Godzilla will be released in 3D on May 16, 2014.
