David narrates ‘Alien Covenant’ prologue, ‘The Crossing’ with Noomi Rapace, links to ‘Prometheus’
What happens between Prometheus and the events of Alien: Covenant? Well, a new teaser serves as a prologue to the new film, titled “The Crossing” and does just this. Check out the full clip below.
Director Ridley Scott continues to expand the Xenomorph universe and here “The Crossing” shows what happened to the android David (Fassbender) and Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Rapace) after the Prometheus mission took its horrifying turn.
At less than three-minutes-long, the prologue doesn’t reveal all, but it does show Dr. Shaw healing David, and the duo heading to (and possibly arriving at) the Engineer’s homeworld.
Alien: Covenant stars Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England and Benjamin Rigby. Noomi Rapace is believed to have a small role, likely a cameo involving her death, as well as an appearance by James Franco.
Alien: Covenant will arrive in theaters on May 19, 2017.
