David Lamont, California man, in a coma after being beaten by noise making teens
A California man wound up in a coma just because he went to talk to some teens about making too much noise outside his home

David Lamont, age 51, was lying unconscious on the ground after confronting a group of people making noise outside of his home midnight Saturday.
Police believe teenagers are responsible for the attack.
“The victim was seriously injured,” Pleasanton Police Sergeant Kurt Schlehuber said.
“These people that did this, they just drove away and left him,” said Agnes Lamont, the victim’s wife, to the local ABC affiliate.
Police say a dark colored SUV was seen leaving the location by a witness.
A friend of the injured man says the victim went to confront a group of teenagers at a loud party in the cul-de-sac when he was attacked. When the man did not return home, the friend says the victim’s wife went to look for him and found him badly beaten on the ground and called 911.
The man is comatose in critical condition, according to police.
How is Mr. Lamont doing now? I’d like an update on his condition please.
He remains in critical condition at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.
