David Jenson, Florida homeless man throws brick through hotel window, says ‘zombies were chasing him’
A St Pete, Florida man was arrested after throwing a brick at a Hilton hotel window Wednesday morning.
The homeless man, David Allen Jensen, age 41, used a donut-shaped piece of concrete to break glass outside the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront hotel police report.Jensen told police he was trying to get inside of the hotel because “zombies were chasing him.”
Security guards say they witnessed Jensen trying to open several locked vehicles and claimed he was looking for tobacco.
Jensen faces multiple charges, including burglary and throwing a deadly missile into a building. He remained in jail Thursday. Jail records did not list an attorney for Jensen.
While zombies are popular in pop culture, with AMC’s The Walking Dead leading the way, they have made the headlines in other ways.
