‘Daredevil’ season 2 will see the return of Scott Glenn as Stick for 3 episodes
Marvel and Netflix hit show Daredevil heads into their second season and just confirmed the return of Scott Glenn as Stick. The mentor of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Stick will appear in at least three episodes of “Daredevil” season 2, Marvel announced on Wednesday.
“After seeing Scott’s performance in the first season, we knew that we had to bring him back for more,” says Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb. “He is an extraordinary actor and we leapt at the chance to expand on his adventures with Matt and Daredevil.”
Executive producer and co-showrunner Marco Ramirez agrees.
“In some ways, Stick is to Marvel’s Daredevil what Scott Glenn has been to film and TV – a magnetic and awesome force to be reckoned with,” he tells Marvel. “It’s an honor to welcome him back, and the Daredevil team can’t wait to unleash Scott’s unique brand of bad-assery upon the world in season 2.”
Cox returns with Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll and Rosario Dawson, who will reprise their roles from season 1. The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal joins the show as Frank Castle (aka The Punisher) along with newcomers Elodie Yung as Elektra, and Stephen Rider as District Attorney Blake Tower.
Season is currently filming on location in New York City with a scheduled 2016 return.
