Good and bad news lands across the televison world as fans of The Beauty and the Beast will rejoince knowing that The CW has approved a fourth season of the popular fantasy. Meanwhile, over at TNT, Ground Floor gets the axe and the show won’t get a season three.

Deadline notes that before season 3 begins it gets a renewal: “Beauty And The Beast has done well online and is a big international seller for its studio, CW sibling CBS TV Studios. Plus, Beauty And The Beast, a remake of the 1987 series, has been a sentimental favorite of CW boss Mark Pedowitz as it was one of the very first concepts he pursued after taking the reins of the network.”
