Covergirl of the Year: Sarah Geronimo edges Angel Locsin in early voting

The Filipino Entertainment website has another poll going on right now, and this time it’s about who does the public think is the “Covergirl of the Year” for 2013.

The survey that began just a couple of days ago has received great reception, as all Starmometer polls do.

The website asks, “Who is the most glamorous covergirl among our 8 finalists?” The eight finalists include Angel Locsin – MOD May 2013, Anne Curtis – MEGA September 2013, Jessy Mendiola – METRO February 2013, Kathryn Bernardo – PREVIEW August 2013, Kim Chiu – METRO April 2013, Marian Rivera – COSMOPOLITAN March 2013, Megan Young – PEOPLE ASIA December 2013 and Sarah Geronimo – COSMOPOLITAN June 2013.

With early voting in from online ballots and Facebook, Pop Princess, Sarah Geronimo’s Cosmo June 2013 cover is leading with 144,232 total votes and in a close second, Angel Locsin’s May 2013 MOD cover garnering 134,401 votes. At this stage in the poll, none of the other contenders are even close.

Starmometer says the poll ends 11:59pm of December 30, 2013. Results will be revealed on December 31.
