Corey Stoll on his ‘Homeland’ season 4 role
Fans don’t know too much about the new season of Homeland, the popular espionage show on Showtime, and how Carrie (Clarie Danes) will entertain without Brody (Damian Lewis). Corey Stoll doesn’t offer much, maintaining the obligatory secrecy surrounding the hit show.
“I think I’m allowed to say my character description. I’m the station chief for the CIA in Islamabad. I think that might be it,” Stol begins in his interview with Elle.
“…we shot it in Cape Town, which was a great experience. Just such a beautiful place. And with what’s really a great cast and crew to hang out with. That job was the perfect time. It was three weeks in the cool country. I got to go on safari. And I did it all on Showtime’s dime. Every job is not like that!”
In a recent featurette, fans learned that South Africa was transformed into Pakistan, Afghanistan and Washington D.C.
The creators confirmed they met with the CIA to determine the “real hot spots” in the world and build the story around reality. This is a great interview as Stoll talks about his many other roles, including, House of Cards and The Stain – check it out HERE
