Convoy of Hope, AG churches responding to tornado victims

International humanitarian relief organization, Convoy of Hope, has assessment teams in the areas affected by the tornadoes throughout the Midwest. Assemblies of God churches have mobilized assistance in Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Convoy of Hope semi truck“Our prayers are with the families whose lives have been impacted by these storms,” says Hal Donaldson, president and co-founder of Convoy of Hope. “Our teams will provide crucial information that will help us as we make plans in the coming days and monitor additional severe weather forecasted in these areas throughout the week.”

Different churches in the area are reporting that they are safe and are now transitioning into help centers, reaching out to those who were not so lucky.

“AG churches are responding to the best of their abilities in aiding victims, and help is on the way for many of these communities hit by tornadoes,” the article states.
