‘Constantine’ preview: New TV spots, photos Matt Ryan, Lucy Griffiths

NBC has debuted three more TV spots for Constantine, its adaptation of the DC Comics series Hellblazer.

Matt Ryan as Constantine photoMatt Ryan stars as the quirky demon hunter and expert on the occult, John Constantine. Playing off of the motto “giving hell,” Constantine uses his knowledge of “dark arts” and entertaining wit to fight the “good fight.” He’s already condemned to hell, so he abandons the good life and here protects Lucy Griffiths’ Liv against demons.

Liv is the daughter of one of Constantine’s old friends and he’s pulled into the depths of a spiritual war in an effort to keep her safe. Liv is not powerless as she learns of her “second sight” and ability to predict supernatural occurrences.

Coming Soon: “Constantine and Liv must use her power and his skills to travel the country, find the demons that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows… maybe there’s hope for him and his soul after all.”
