Community rallies around children, family of murder suicide victim Kristin Florio-Gile

In Kansas, the community is rallying with donations and support to the six kids and family of Kristin Florio-Gile, the mother murdered by her estr anged husband Randy Gile earlier this month.

Kristin’s sister, Jessica Florio-King, is quoted in a post and coverage at KWCH, Channel 12, stating that “the generosity and blessings from others in the community are something they can never repay.”

Jessica is referring to a new minivan given from the local Toyota dealer to Kristin’s parents. Numerous toys and brand new electronics were also donated for the orphaned kids: Kayleigh 12, Jacob 11, Alivia 10, Jackson 7, Sophia 5, and Colton 3.

Read the family’s full statement:

“I’ve watched my parents and my sister’s six innocent beautiful children crying–in the most unbelievable pain you can imagine–off and on for two weeks now. But to see them cry because of the amazing generosity of this world versus the evil they thought was left… That is a “thank you” I could never repay. You gave them all that. You gave them hope that this world is still a beautiful place. You gave them faith that good will always win. You gave them their smile back. So thank you for each donation, each meal, each dollar, each warm hug, and each kind-hearted message. A special thank you to Bradon Steven and Eddy’s Toyota for donating a van big enough to hold all eight and to everyone involved in building my neice’s and nephew’s playground. Speaking on behalf of the entire Florio family… We cannot thank you enough.

Gofundme was also started to assist the family.
