Cochren & Co signs with Nashville’s First Company Management

First Company Management, one of Christian music’s leading full-service personal artist management firms, announces the signing of Cochren & Co. to its acclaimed roster. Gotee Records’ newest artist, singer/songwriter Michael Cochren will be represented by veteran First Company managers Brandi Wagner and Derek Bruner.

“We are beyond excited to represent Cochren & Co.,” says Mike McCloskey, general manager, First Company Management. “From the beginning we knew they possessed something uniquely special, so it’s an honor to join the band on their journey forward.”

“Michael is a truly gifted lyricist and songwriter, and his experience in pastoral leadership adds a maturity to his message that is important in this cultural moment,” adds First Company Management’s Derek Bruner. “It’s exciting to see so many new fans discover and embrace Cochren & Co.”

Indiana-native Michael Cochren’s debut Gotee singles “Church (Take Me Back)” and “Grave” showcase a soulful piano-pop sound influenced by such artists as Ray Charles, Billy Joel and NEEDTOBREATHE. Cochren & Co. is featured on this fall’s “TobyMac & DiverseCity: The Theatre Tour.” The tour also includes special guest GRAMMY®-nominated singer/songwriter and fellow First Company Management client Ryan Stevenson. Hitting a total of 12 cities, “TobyMac & DiverseCity: The Theatre Tour” will stop in Beaumont and Midland, Texas, later this week before wrapping November 18 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

First Company Management was established in 1995 by Christian music visionary Wes Campbell. Under the guidance of Campbell and Dave Wagner, the firm’s roster includes GRAMMY®-nominated, Platinum-selling Newsboys; GRAMMY®-nominated Ryan Stevenson; Dove Award-nominated 7eventh Time Down; pop/rock hitmakers Ashes Remain; former Stellar Kart and Audio Adrenaline frontman Adam Agee; and breakout new artist Austin French. In addition, First Company played a significant role in the development of “God’s Not Dead,” one of the most successful faith-based film franchises of all time.
