Cleveland police charge Karla Clausell for Miranda Stamper murder
Sgt. Evie West with Cleveland police in Tennessee announced that Karla Clausell has been charged with first-degree murder of Miranda Stamper.
The shooting at CBC Cleveland around 11 o’clock Friday night prompted police to find a woman dead in the parking lot, dead from apparent gun shot wounds.
“There were multiple patrons of the bar that were around the parking lot. They did find a female victim that was lying in the parking lot with apparent gun shot wounds,” she said.
West said there was an altercation in the parking lot of the Inman Street billiards club that led to the shooting.
She continued, asking for help from the public following the challenging crime scene with over 40 people in that parking lot.
Stamper was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
“We’re still interviewing witnesses, we’re still interviewing people that were around this area, that know things about it,”
West said. “We’re just requesting help from anyone in the community that might know information about this that can tell us about it.”
