Chuck Todd: 3rd party candidate in FL getting double digits on I-4 corridor, doesn’t mention name

During a discussion about the November midterm elections on this morning’s episode of Morning Joe, Meet the Press host Chuck Todd referenced the Florida gubernatorial race.

“Something weird is happening”, said Todd. “We’re seeing a lot of third party candidates, although their not taking off like they are in other places, we’re seeing them serve as a “none of the above” or a protest vote.

“The guy running in Florida for governor, the third party candidate is getting double digits up and down the I-4 corridor.”

Todd says the reason for this phenomenon is you got a ticked-off voter who is not happy with either.

The third party guy running for governor is of course, Libertarian candidate, Adrian Wyllie. Not only was Mr. Wyllie’s name not mentioned on this clip below, he is being shut out of the upcoming televised debate with Democrat Charlie Crist and Republican Rick Scott.

This has prompted Wyllie to file a federal lawsuit Thursday that seeks to force the Florida Press Association and Leadership Florida to allow him to be heard along side the two major party candidates.
