Christopher Eccleston as Malekith wakes up in new ‘Thor The Dark World’ clip
Marvel has released a new clip from Thor: The Dark World which features the film’s villain, Malekith.
The dark elf Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston) will battle Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, even forcing him to team with his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) to protect Asgard and the Nine Realms.
Full synopsis is below.
This clip focuses on Malekith, and while it doesn’t really tell fans much about the character’s personality, it does reveal that The Aether can wake up evil elves.
The film also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.
Thor: The Dark World opens in 3D on November 8th.
