“I mean there’s some amazing talent right now,” Seidel told Enstarz. “We have so many interesting, new people, which is exciting.”

Fans are eager to see Patricia Arquette, who will have a recurring role as Sally Wheat, a speakeasy owner in Tampa with ties to the gangsters in the area, in season 4. Seidel plays Norwegian immigrant Sigrid.

“We all don’t know everything because they will not give us more information than we absolutely need for our own character,” she said. “So, I don’t even know exactly everything that’s going on.”

Meanwhile HBO has released the trailer of the next season, which gives us some spoilers of what’s coming in the next episodes when the series returns.

In the trailer, Thompson’s Harlem enemy Valentin Narcisse, played by Jeffrey Wright, can be seen challenging Thompson with his smooth talk.

“Only kings understand each other,” Narcisse says. “What shall we do, Mr. Thompson?”

Boardwalk Empire returns September 8.
