Christian radio in Davao Philippines, ‘encouraging everyday’

Davao in the Philippines has only one Christian radio station and Assist News highlight this ministry and the mission to get the gospel out through the radio to the growning population of Davao.

christian radio davao philippines the edge logo 104.3Run with mostly volunteers, the 104.3 tean, The Edge, is supported entirely by listeners’ donations and fundraising events to “advance the kingdom of God in the Philippines, through positive faith-based and values-driven programming and content.”

The station is proudly supporters by some, “We are encouraged everyday by your station. We thank you, and may God’s anointing be upon every word and songs you play that would bring salvation to the people,” quotes the article by Assist News.

The article profiles the station, especially station manager Jay Bringas, and his journey through difficult trials with MS and how he was delivered into ministry at The Edge.

“Bringas would like to see the station’s signal expand under his leadership, but with the uncertain nature of MS, is happy to do make the best he can of every day,” they write before quoting the approach from Jay. “Can create paranoia rather than giving your best every day.”
