Brad Sherwood interview: ‘Whose Line Is It Anyways’ season 4, Colin Mochrie tour, MC Karl Rove, Pokemon Go
Back on Dispatch Radio is comedian Brad Sherwood, giving fans a preview of Whose Line Is It Anyway, which is enjoying a nice run on The CW. Brad discusses working on the show, how many games they film and some funny stories from the set.
Sherwood returns alongside Whose Line stars Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and host Aisha Tyler. He discusses doing the show for CW, now appearing on over 60 shows.
“Because it’s always Improv, you never really chalk it up to old hat, because you’re having to make stuff up. So, you may trust yourself from having done decades and decades of Improv, but you can’t rest on your laurels…”
Sherwood pulls back the curtain back on the number of games, “We shoot 20 games per show,” needing only 5 per show, but “generally when they get a bunch of stuff that is funny” it becomes multiple episodes.
“This is why you’ll see us wearing the exact same outfit on several episodes…”
Brad also travels with Mochrie on a two-man show touring around the country and gives fans a brief insight on what to expect, how the audience is part of the show and people recognizing him in public.
Brad reflected on a multitude of projects over the years, but most specifically his now famous MC Karl Rove experience as he engaged the White House figure in a impromptu rap and it went viral across the Internet. Check out the clip below.
