Boston: Kian Willis arrested for the shooting death of Patrick Sequeira-Ferreira
Police have made an arrest in connection to the murder of Patrick Sequeira-Ferreira, who was shot and killed on Keith Ave. around 6:30 p.m. on November 12. On Wednesday. police identified the man arrested as Kian Willis.
Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz recounted that Sequeira-Ferreira, 27, was shot in the head in Brockton on Monday, November 12 around 6:25 p.m.
Sequeira-Ferreira was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center before being flown to Boston Medical Center by helicopter. He was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
Willis, 21, is expected to be arraigned in Brockton District Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
The fatal shooting is the city’s ninth homicide in 2018, and sixth gun-related murder, after seven killings in 2017.

Patrick Sequeira Ferreira (27) of Brockton died November 12th in the Boston Medical Center from injuries sustained tragically Monday Evening.
He was born in Stoughton loving son of Jose Ferreira and Neusa Sequeira both of Brockton. Patrick was a student and communicant of St. Martin de Porres Church. He enjoyed watching the Celtics, soccer and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Mario Jorge of Cabo Verde, 3 sisters, Tatina Ferreira of Brockton, Elaine Ferreira of Maryland and Dilma Ferreira of Cabo Verde, his grandmothers, Maria Santos of Brockton and Irene Gilmet of Rhode Island and his grandfather Joao Ferreira of Cabo Verde.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Tuesday November 20th at 10 am with the Bishop Filipe C. Teixeira OFSJC Celebrant. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Monday November 19th from 5-8 pm.
