Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev yawns as he enters his ‘not guilty’ plea
When Dzhokhar Tsarnaev appeared in a Boston courtroom yesterday, it was the first time the world had seen the surviving suspect in the Boston marathon bombings since he was found bloody and huddled in a dry-docked boat in the suburban community of Watertown in April.

Tsarnaev, age 19, was escorted into the courtroom and entered his ‘not guilty’ while yawning and seeming to care less. He wore a wrap on his left hand but hardly seemed as injured as officials reported after his initial capture, read that here.
“It was kind of eerie. Kind of upsetting,” said Mildred Valverde, 44, who was on crutches and suffered torn leg ligaments, nerve damage and hearing loss from one of the blasts while waiting for her son to cross the finish line.
“But it felt good I could be there.”
Dzhokhar and his elder brother Tamerlan, who died following a shootout with police and getting run over by Dzhokhar, are identified as the terrorists who detonated the two bombs at around 2:49pm on the day of the Boston Marathon.
Chechen immigrant and naturalized U.S. citizen faces 30 federal charges — 17 of which could bring a death sentence or life in prison — including detonating a weapon of mass destruction resulting in deaths. Other charges include bombing a public place and malicious destruction of property stemming from the April 15 bombings that killed three people and injured more than 260.
