Bolshoi Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker,’ arrives in cinemas on December 17th
The unparalleled Bolshoi Ballet brings the holiday spirit to audiences throughout the U.S. with a magical performance of the timeless seasonal tale, “The Nutcracker,” in cinemas nationwide on Sunday, December 17 only. Captured live from Moscow’s legendary Bolshoi Theatre, the production is the third in Fathom Events’ 2017-18 Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema Series, presented in partnership with BY Experience and Pathé Live.
A festive treat for the entire family, Bolshoi’s presentation of “The Nutcracker” is inspired by E.T.A. Hoffman’s fairytale and enchants audiences as Marie and her Nutcracker Prince embark on a dreamy adventure full of wonder. Featuring the cherished score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and choreography by Yuri Grigorovich, Bolshoi’s world-renowned dancers bring one of the most celebrated holiday traditions to life, on the big screen.
