Body of Missing Florida boater, Charlie Jackson, has been found
The families of Charlie Jackson and Jason Cobb gather as they mourn the loss of two Florida men in a boating accident.
Jason Cobb’s body was found at Lake Jesup Thursday and the search continued for his friend Charles Jackson.
Friday a post on the Facebook page “Searching for Charlie Jackson and Jason Cobb” revealed the news:
With a heavy heart I bring the news that Charlie has been found as well. Family and friends once again hold each other.
Authorities believe Cobb and Jackson appeared to have been thrown from their boat. The 15-foot boat was found undamaged. Investigators said that “have nothing to suggest they survived this incident” and have been searching this week.
“These two extraordinary men have touched so many lives. Your words and support thus far have helped the families more than you could imagine,” a post proclaimed.
Family and friends are gathering at the Black Hammock bar, the last place the men were when they left for their boating trip, to hold a candlelight vigil and support one another.
January 11, there will be a benefit in Sanford to help support the families, more details here
