Bob Schieffer lied or is wrong about late-term abortion which is ‘horrible to even contemplate’
Attempting to “fact-check” the Republican nominee Donald Trump on CBS This Morning, former Face the Nation moderator Bob Schieffer falsely asserted: “…no woman carries a child for eight and a half months and then decides she wants to have an abortion.” Schieffer ignores all of the states where late-term abortions are possible and the disguise of “viability” keeps the door opens to just such a practice.
While Schieffer stated that “The abortions that happen at that period are usually about the life of the mother. Nobody does that. And that is just – that’s just horrible to even contemplate.”
Using the CDC data for 2011, 730,322 abortions were reported to the CDC with very few, 1.3% were performed at ≥21 weeks’ gestation, but that’s 9,494 abortions.
After 21 weeks, nearly 9,500 abortions are taking place. THERE ARE LATE-TERM ABORTIONS

The CDC categorizes abortions by Gestational age in weeks at the time of abortion (≤6, 7–20 by individual week, or ≥21) THERE IS NO CATEGORY FOR WEEK 28, 30, 35 or even later.
Arizona, Georgia, and Idaho passed legislation limiting late-term abortion, but court decisions blocked those efforts.
In total, 24 states and Washington, D.C., have no limits on late-term abortions. (Source)

As you said, Bob, the Supreme Court right out of the box, the issue of the Second Amendment, the issue of abortion and Roe vs. Wade. What do you think about Trump’s answer on that?
