The crew is currently casting for the role, so no actor is currently attached, but will be a recurring role.

Here’s the official statement: For Boardwalk Empire episode 4.06, a recurring role is being cast: a Sicilian gangster from Florida. (source)

There have been a lot of actors cast for the upcoming season, including Ron Livingston, Patricia Arquette, and Jeffrey Wright. Maybe another big name will join them for this role.

It was also just announced on Friday, May 10, that the third season of the Prohibition-era drama will make its way to Blu-ray in August, so fans will have time to catch up before the season four premiere.

There are not even a title for the episode in which the character will appear, so stay tuned.

Boardwalk Empire will return to HBO in the fall of 2013.
