‘Big Bang Theory’ season 7 hits a new high with the Sheldon and Amy kiss
A Valentine’s Day miracle as Sheldon concedes to romance?
During the new episode “The Locomotive Manipulation,” Sheldon (Jim Parsons) not only started the smooch, but keeps it going, leaving Amy (Mayim Bialik) shocked.
Fans are clamoring: A kiss, a real kiss…a long kiss.
It was the couple’s most intimate moment to date, moving the relationship forward from last season’s Dungeons & Dragons moment when the couple role played a sexual encounter with their characters in the D&D game.
Meanwhile Leonard and Penny continue to move forward and back in their relationship, one that star Kaley Cuoco hopes ends in married.
“I have a feeling there’s going to be more of those,” Cuoco said of another failed marriage proposal. “Now it’s a thing. Our show, when we find something, we keep doing it. There’s going to be more proposals that don’t fully go through.”
The couple have already had three botched proposal attempts: two initiated by Leonard and one by Penny.
“The writers know how dear it is to my heart that they have to end up together,” Cuoco says. “Their relationship is good right now. I love how they’ve written it — very up and down — like a real relationship. You go through things, it’s not perfect — life isn’t a TV show and stuff happens. But right now, they have a good rapport.”
Penny and Leonard end up watching Raj’s dog, Cinnamon, and the three of them end up spending the night at the veterinarian’s. The don’t technically live together, but it’s close.
“No; they live next door and they basically [already] live together, but I think they will always live with Sheldon, so they better get used to it,” Cuoco says. “It’s like, ‘Come and knock on our door!’ It’s the three of them, always.”
The Big Bang Theory airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
