Benghazi whistleblower Gregory Hicks says he’s been ‘punished’ for speaking out
The State Department’s second in command during the Libya assault which left Ambassador Christopher Stevens dead says he’s being punished for speaking out on the Benghazi details.
Gregory Hicks appeared on ABC News to share his story. America Rising collected the highlights of his interview with George Stephanopolous, including Hicks’ assertion that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton assigned Stevens to man the under-protected diplomatic post, despite documented security risks.
He also reiterated that he personally and “immediately” informed State brass that the raid was an act of terrorism.
Agreeing with the assertion that he’s in “career limbo” in the State Department after testifying in May, Hicks continues.
“…I feel like I’m been punished. I don’t know why I was punished. I don’t know why I was shunted aside…put in a closet if you will.”
Hicks adds that the State Department didn’t know he was doing the interview with ABC.
“The American people need to have the story and Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty’s names are names that should be remembered – by every American for the sacrifice that they made.
