Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Strong star as British villains in Jaguar Super Bowl ad ‘Rendezvous’
Three Brits star in the latest Super Bowl ad from Jaguar, pointing out that the “bad guys” are all British.
Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong take a stab at their onscreen alter egos (Mandarin in Iron Man 3, Sinestro in Green Lantern and Loki in Thor and The Avengers) with Kingsley giving the climactic line “It’s good to be bad.”
Of course, Hiddleston steals the show while drinking tea on the helicopter during the chase sequence and reminding everyone the importance of the “stiff upper lip.” Fans will certainly recognize the brief Loki grin which Hiddleston will forever be remembered.
Oscar winning The King’s Speech director Tom Hooper film the commercial which is certain to garner a few smiles, especially with the fanboys.
Promoting the new F-TYPE Jaguar couple, the ad rolls out a new website and hashtag, Visit http://www.britishvillains.com and let us introduce you to the newest British Villain. #GoodToBeBad
For the fanboys, Mark Strong did also play Frank D’Amico in Kick-Ass, so The Global Dispatch is well aware of the Marvel connection there as well.
