Batman 612, Dragon’s Lair and ‘American Wedding’ without Jennifer Coolidge, MILF
Batman #612 Second Print is hot? There are various sources that are reporting the incredible sales of this issue that features a great Batman/Superman battle. A second printing of a comic never commands any value to collectors (other than the obvious reading of the issue), but writer Jeph Loeb recommended distributing the comic with the original Jim Lee pencil art on the cover.
It is pretty cool (similar to the appeal of original artwork), but expect the popularity to be ripped off and become the next trend for “variants.”
Dragon’s Lair comics and possible movie: The six-issue mini-series follows the further adventures Dirk the Daring and Princess Daphne, as they return from an astonishing adventure in the Free Realms only to be attacked by the great dragon Singe and his evil minions! Singe has vowed revenge against Dirk for killing his offspring, and Daphne is caught in the dread dragon’s claws! Armed only with his courage and skill, Dirk must brave the Dark Kingdom and all its evils in order to save the Princess from Singe!
DRAGON’S LAIR: SINGE’S REVENGE #1 can be ordered in the CrossGen section of the June Diamond Previews catalog.
Rob McFarlane will get his screenwriting debut with a “Dragon’s Lair” film as Don Bluth and Gary Goldman seek distribution. Amongst their previous endeavors is “Titan A.E.” and “Anastasia.”
WizKids: A couple of weeks ago I touched on Heroclix (see issue # ) but focusing on one of WizKids’ lines would sell them short. In early 2001, the launch of miniature army sets “Mage Knight” began a trend that is revamping the CCG and role-playing game industries. The WizKids Games have grown in popularity and there are various lines to choose from, including DC and Marvel characters. Whether it is fighting dragons with a sword (Mage Knight) or a futuristic magical creature with cybernetic weapons (Shadowrun) – “Crimson Skies” is a line of planes and pilots to engage in dogfights.
So, put away the dice and those Magic cards – check out the WizKids games.
So you want to be in the new “Star Wars”: The Force.net has posted some guidelines to direct people who want to be extras in the upcoming SW film. There is a link to agencies in Sydney, Australia and instructions to send headshots etc…directly.
