Author Jenni Catron discusses her book ‘Clout: Discover and Unleash Your God-Given Influence’

Author Jenni Catron challenges her readers in her new book Clout: Discover and Unleash Your God-Given Influence. Catron took time out to speak about the book, elaborate on some of the messages and themes.

Jenni Catron“Leadership begins with influence and the idea we all have a sphere of influence,” Catron begins as she explains what Clout means. “We all have a circle of people that are in our lives strategically for us to invest in use our gifts and talents to influence.”

Catron details the points and challenges in Clout and each individual can and needs to learn how to harness God’s given power, which ties directly to our influence.

“Life is a series of hurdles of fear,” Catron states as she reflects on the research and personal growth she experience after researching the paralyzing effects of fear. “Each one of them we grow from…we’re stretched by and if we do the work to unpack that: What is going on, how is that impacting me, am I running away from it or am I tackling it…”

Just as Catron’s book can have an amazing impact on your life, her interview reveals a passionate author who was indeed impacted by her creation.
