‘Arrow’ and Stephen Amell will get an entire season on CW
The CW has picked up the superhero adaptation Arrow for a full season.
Much like Smallville, the show puts a television spin on the Green Arrow comic book character and has been met with a relatively enthusiastic audience response.
The series had an impressively strong premiere number with 4.02 million viewers maiking it the CW’s most-watched series premiere since The Vampire Diaries in 2009.
The CW’s pick-up is for a full 22-episode season.
“Our strategy of rolling out our new fall schedule later in the year really paid off for The CW on several levels, especially with Arrow“, said CW president Mark Pedowitz.
