‘Angry Bird’ top iPhone app of all-time ahead of ‘Fruit Ninja’ and ‘Doodle Jump’
Apple has named the most-downloaded iPhone and iPad apps of all time ahead of the App Store’s fifth birthday.
The firm announced that Angry Birds is the most popular premium iPhone app on the storefront, followed by Fruit Ninja, Doodle Jump, Cut the Rope and Angry Birds Seasons in the top five.

Facebook was named as the most-downloaded free app for the smartphone, with Pandora, Instagram, YouTube and Skype rounding off the top five.
Apple’s own Pages word processing software leads the way in the iPad premium category, followed by Angry Birds HD, Angry Birds Seasons HD, Where’s My Water HD and Fruit Ninja HD.
Skype was named as the top freemium iPad application, ahead of The Weather Channel, Netflix, Angry Birds HD Free and Amazon’s Kindle software.
