An Online survey to help selecting the KC School District’s new superintendent
Choosing a new superintendent is not an easy task. A superintendent must not only fit the needs of the school, but of the whole community – students, faculty, staff, parents, administration, school board… For this reason, the Mill Hall Keystone Central School District of Mill Hall has decided to launch an online survey to solicit input from stakeholders in order to help to select the right candidate.
KC School district launches an online survey
The Mill Hall Keystone Central School District has announced on Monday afternoon the creation of an online survey that will help to select the school’s new superintendent. The survey targets the different stakeholders of the school’s community – students, faculty, staff, parents, administration, school board… -, asking their input on what characteristics and priorities they would like to see in the next superintendent.
The actual interim superintendent Dr. Ala, J. Lonoconus, who is under short-term contract with the district, is in charge of leading the search for someone to replace him. He is the one directing the survey, which asks five questions that will help him determine the main characteristics he needs to find in his successor.
The online survey will be open through Sunday, nov. 11, 2018 and the results will be used by school board and administration as they work to replace Dr. Lonoconus, while his interim position, extended by the school board last summer, comes to an end.
Online surveys, a tool to help to serve everyone at best
Schools are not the only establishments to use online surveys. Many public institutions, but also businesses, use this kind of tool to make sure to provide the best services possible to as many people as possible. If you lead such an establishment, you may click here to have a look at one of this tool.
Indeed, online surveys help to get insightful information from a targeted audience and broaden one’s view in order to develop wider and stronger strategies in any domain. For instance, in the example of the Mill Hall Keystone Central School District, teachers and student do not expect the same from their new superintendent, and the actual superintendent in charge of choosing his successor can’t have a proper insight of what students’ expectation could be, without asking them directly.
Online surveys come here as a very cost-effective tool. Online surveys are indeed very affordable and can highly help increase the quality of living of the whole community.
