Amanda Markowitz discusses ‘Love Meet Hope’ with Ed Asner, Improv
Actress Amanda Markowitz reflected on the production of Love Meet Hope and previewed the film, working with Ed Asner in the Indie film feature which was honored at the Best Dramatic Film at the Hollywood REEL Independent Film Festival. Amanda appeared on Dispatch Radio, talking with Brandon Jones about the film, other projects, beginning with working with Asner.
“It was such an incredible experience working with Ed Asner…He’s such a legend…so it was amazing,” she said as she gushed over the actor. “We’re currently finalizing our distribution and hopefully you should be seeing it soon.”
Amanda summarizes the film, the fantasy aspects, the love story themes and playing such a dynamic role: “It definitely has a Nicholas Sparks vibe….”

Twisting a bit away from Love Meet Hope, Amanda reflects doing Improv “…I love finding myself in different characters, and different roles, doing the unexpected…” she explains about her desire to be an actor. “I can push myself and I can try new things…I do love Improv, so it was fun.”
Amanda reflected on writing, getting behind the project as a producer, working TV and much, much more. She even discusses how Love Meet Hope started as a web series before it was expanded into the feature.
