Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Joy Behar: Left-wing mental midgets

When it comes to idiotic statement by people on the left, I still think Georgia Democratic Congressman, Hank Johnson is the king of that mountain.

Recall in 2010 when Johnson was expressing concern to the request to add 5,000 troops to the 212 square mile island of Guam when he said, “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.”

Johnson did just get reelected to his seat in metro-Atlanta.

MSNBC pajama boy, Chris Hayes on his show last night did a short segment on all “the firsts” and other categories in Congress after the Nov. 6 election.

This included props for Democratic socialist winner in New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has a litany of buffoonish and moronic statements to add to her short political resume already.

Well, Ocasio-Cortez, who won in a landslide in her district, said the following: “After being spurned over, and over, and over again, short-changed on healthcare, short-changed on criminal justice, short-changed on education, there’s a lot of folks who don’t want to believe anymore,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And that’s why what we have accomplished is such an immense responsibility. It is a responsibility.”

“It doesn’t mean you get everything tomorrow,” Ocasio-Cortez rambled. “As much as I would love that. I would love to get inaugurated January 3rd [and on] January 4th we’re signing healthcare, we’re signing this…”

Clearly, she has no clue that representative do not get inaugurated or that they do not sign bills into law.

How did the people in her district think this was a good idea? For sure, she will be a plethora of great fodder of stupid, ill-informed comments and statements in coming weeks, months and years.

Expecting some real Johnson-esqe stuff from the young clueless socialist.

Then there is The View blowhard, Joy Behar. She is notorious for spewing bile at and about people she hates on the right.

On Wednesday however, she showed her ignorance on politics 101: ABC’s News’s Matthew Dowd was on The View and stated:

“In 2016 we had a split decision,” Dowd said. “Trump takes the electoral college, geography. Hillary Clinton wins the popular vote. Democrats won the popular vote last night by 8 million votes. But they lose U.S. Senate races in red areas –”

“Because of gerrymandering,” Behar interrupted. D’oh!

Gerrymandering is the manipulation of congressional districts or other internal political boundaries to achieve a partisan advantage. If it is done effectively, gerrymandering can frustrate the desires of voters and yield a Congress that is not truly representative.

Unfortunately for Behar, who spent so much of her career bashing Republicans like Sarah Palin for her stupidity, appeared Palin-esqe. Senators do not have districts to be gerrymandered, it’s a state wide office.

Unfortunately for the watching public who knows little, Behar’s and Ocasio-Cortez’s idiocy may be taken as fact.

Mike Judge couldn’t have written it better.
