‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 6 trailer: Clark Gregg’s Coulson is back
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is set to return for its sixth season this summer with a smaller set of episodes, only thirteen. The big surprise comes quickly: Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson is back.
Coulson remains the heart of the series, surrounded by an entertaining cast of characters around him. Check out the first trailer for Season 6 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. below.
The 13-episode Season 6 will arrive on ABC sometime this summer, followed by a 13-episode Season 7 that’s already been announced. Potentially the last for the series, Season 7 is expected to arrive for the 2019-2020 TV season.
SHIELD stars Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and Jeff Ward as Deke Shaw.
Anthony Michael Hall joined the cast for a guest appearance while Joel Stoffer will return as Enoch, the fan favorite Chronicom from Season 5, who is presently watching over a cryofrozen Fitz in deep space. Briana Venskus will also reprise her role as Agent Piper, who has been with the show since Season 3 and was last seen with the team on Zephyr One.
