‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 6 adds Anthony Michael Hall; Joel Stoffer, Briana Venskus will be back

According to a new report, actor Anthony Michael Hall has joined Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in an undisclosed guest role for season 6.

According to Revenge of the Fans, Hall (The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, The Dead Zone) reportedly joins Agents in an undisclosed role.

While the specifics of Hall’s character are under wraps, his role is described as a guest appearance.

Additionally Joel Stoffer will return as Enoch, the fan favorite Chronicom from Season 5, who is presently watching over a cryofrozen Fitz in deep space. Briana Venskus will also reprise her role as Agent Piper, who has been with the show since Season 3 and was last seen with the team on Zephyr One.

This is not Hall’s first foray into the world of superheroes, as he previously portrayed a Gotham Cable News reporter in The Dark Knight.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have a short 13-episode Season 6 this summer, set in a post Avengers: Endgame world.

While details are very scarce regarding the upcoming season, the Agents will face a new group of mercenaries and at least part of the season is rumored to play out in the depths of space.

SHIELD stars Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and Jeff Ward as Deke Shaw.
