‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2: Adrianne Palicki on Mockingbird, first photo, ‘GI Joe 3’

Adrianne Palicki will be one of the new castmembers joining Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 2 and while promoting her new film John Wick at the Fantastic Fest première, Palicki spoke about the show.

The G.I. Joe: Retaliation star dodged specifics, but confirmed when she’ll be appearing, saying it will definitely more than one” episode.

Signing on for Mockingbird was a hard choice and Palicki explains why.

“There’s fear in it too. I know if I play this character, I probably would never play another Marvel character. There’s different questions you have to ask, and you ask about that too. Where is this character going? All those silly fears that you get being locked into something, but I have to say working with this group of people has been amazing. These producers and show runners are fantastic and I trust them implicitly. Marvel’s been really fun to work with as well, so I’m looking forward to it and I hope it’s a long run for us.”

According to EW, Bobbi Morse (her character) will actually be the head of Hydra Security. Obviously knowing that she eventually becomes the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent known as Mockingbird means she’ll switch sides and join Coulson and the team.

The first photo of Adrianne in uniform was also part of the Sept. 24 article, so check it out below.

During the interview with Crave Online, she says she has no idea if she’ll be back for G.I. Joe 3 as Lady Jaye.

“I don’t actually. I don’t know. Right now I’m currently shooting Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Mockingbird, another superhero, so that’s fun. Then hopefully I get to come back as Lady Jaye at some point.”

Little is known for Joe 3, but Dwayne Johnson is back and the plan is a 2016 release. More HERE

Palicki is set to debut as Bobbi Morse in the October 21 episode, “A Hen in the Wolf House.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
