Aaron Eckhart featured in new ‘I Frankenstein’ photo

Lionsgate has released a new image from their upcoming action film I, Frankenstein, starring Aaron Eckhart as the Creature from Mary Shelley’s famous tale.

Adapted from the graphic novel of the same name, the film will follow the Creature (renamed Adam), who is being stalked by demons intent on learning the secret of his creation.

Adam is ready for the throw down as seen here brandishing a hefty pair of blades and a wild-eyed expression that doesn’t encourage confrontation.
Bill Nighy will be playing Adam’s chief nemesis, one of the angels hurled out of heaven at the same time as Satan, while Miranda Otto is also on hand as the Queen of the gargoyles.
Directed by Stuart Beattie and co-starring Jai Courtney and Yvonne Strahovski, I, Frankenstein will open in theaters January 24, 2014.
Synopsis: Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein’s creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality.
